What to Expect:

Lean back and enjoy the ride on Barcelona’s Telefèric, while the cable car climbs some 85 meters up to Montjuïc Hill, providing spectacular photo opportunities and a bird’s eye view of the harbor, the Ramblas and, of course, Barcelona’s most recognizable landmark, the Sagrada Famìlia.

Inaugurated in 2007, the Montjuïc Cable Car is well connected to the city center via metro and funicular and one of the fastest and probably most exciting ways to reach the top of the mountain. It travels a length of 750 meters and provides a convenient hop on and off service that stops at Montjuïc Park, Montjuïc Castle, and the lookout. ‘Mirador de l’Alcalde’.

The Cable Car gives you easy access to the many sights on Montjuïc Hill, Barcelona’s recreational area, which attracts tourists and locals alike. Visit ‘El Poble Espanyol’, the best of Spain in a unique open-air museum, delve into the arts at the National Art Museum of Catalonia or simply enjoy one of the many parks and their splendid views from up above.

  • 1st of November : 11 am to 6 pm

Additional Information:

  • The Montjuïc Cable Car runs all year round.
  • Return tickets are only valid for a round trip on the same day. 
  • Animals are not allowed on the cable car (except guide dogs).
  • Tickets are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
