What to Expect:

Even if you’re flying into Girona Airport to visit Barcelona, the city is just over an hour away and easy to reach by bus. Sagalés Airport Line brings you on their most direct route right into the city centre, any day of the year, from early in the morning to late at night. Their timetable is coordinated with Ryanair arrivals and departures, so you’ll also be on time at the airport to catch your flight back home.

Airport buses run up to six times a day, leaving from Girona Airport from the bus terminal next to the airport building (turn right when you leave the terminal). The Airport Line’s comfortable coaches bring you non-stop into the centre of Barcelona and drop you off at Estació del Nord, the city’s central bus station, which is well connected to the local transport system. Catch bus 54 at the bus stop right in front of the station (Exit Carrer d’Alí Bei) or Metro L1 at underground station ‘Arc de Triomf’, a short two-minute walk outside the bus-terminal. Both lines bring you in less than 10 minutes to Plaça de Catalunya and connect with other underground and bus lines to let you reach your final destination easily.

How does it work?

When you book your bus ticket for the airport transfer, please select the date of your arrival at Girona Airport and the number of single or return tickets to Barcelona. Your tickets are valid for all departure times, so don’t worry if your flight is delayed. For return tickets, you will receive a separate email after completing the booking process, in which we will ask you for your date of return.
